April was a busy month at Zorem. We shipped updates across seven plugins — including a major release of Zorem Returns with five new features, critical fatal-error fixes for SMS for WooCommerce, and quieter improvements across the rest of the catalog. Every plugin has been tested against the latest WooCommerce 10.6.2 / 10.7.0 and WordPress 6.9.4 releases.

Zorem Returns goes from a returns plugin to a complete returns operations tool. Five new features in a single release — if you handle returns at any meaningful volume, this is the update of the month.
- Keep the Item — refund customers without requiring the return. Useful for low-value or hygiene-sensitive products.
- Extended Return Window for Premium Customers — reward your VIPs with an automatic longer return window.
- Returns Analytics Dashboard — return rates, top-returned products, return reasons, and refund totals in one view.
- SMS Notifications for Return Status Updates via SMS for WooCommerce integration.
- Cross-Product Exchange — customers can exchange returned items for a different product, not just a different variant.

A critical stability release. We resolved two fatal errors that could surface when TrackShip for WooCommerce was active alongside our SMS plugin, and added Twilio Messaging Service SID support — essential for SMS deliverability to US numbers under A2P 10DLC compliance.

- Fixed a fatal error caused by class redeclaration when TrackShip bundled older copies of our SMS service classes. Added

- Custom order status email content can now be edited directly from WooCommerce → Settings → Emails.
- Fixed ShipStation split shipment emails to display only the items included in each shipment.
- Fixed Custom API Alias not saving for custom carriers.
Customer Email Verification PRO 2.9.3

A polish-focused release to make the verification flow cleaner for your customers.
- Redesigned the email verification email for a cleaner, more professional look.
- Replaced the static OTP box with a dynamic OTP variable in the login email — easier to customize and translate.
- Fixed the email verification popup reappearing on the Order Received page.
- Fixed the OTP popup layout overflowing the right edge on mobile.
- Removed the Resend Email feature from the user table UI, replaced by a cleaner flow.

- “Switch to Customer” button in the sidebar — session-based switching with an admin banner and one-click return-to-admin.
